Hi All, The bolt that holds the intake and exhaust manifolds together (above the heat riser, closest to the engine), would not loosen and has twisted off. I have my tap and special sized bit ready to drill it out and tap the hole. Q: How far down into the manifold does the bolt go? Does it open into a pocket, or simply bottom out into cast iron? Thanks.. I'll be drilling this morning, so quick answers are very much appreciated. -Mac |

Thank you. I drilled out the old bolt, tapped the hole and replaced it with a grade-8 bolt. After much prayer and patience, the manifold is back on with no leaks. Thanks again. -Mac |
