Are the front wheel bearings the same for the 74-76 disk brake A-body as for the 74 Drum brake front end?

I have a new set of wheel bearings for the Drum brake front end, but am installing a disk brake front end from a 76 Dart.

I also noticed that my Master cylinder has the large rear chamber already. Was the same non-boosted MC used for either brake set up, or is there a difference in Front/Rear Bias?

Spend 90 seconds on www.rockauto.com and then you can tell us! 8)

That makes it one of several different disc masters, which someone may have installed somewhere along the line because, after all, they all bolt up. Drum brake masters had equal-size reservoirs.

This car had a towing setup, so that may have been why the MC had the larger capacity. It used a Hydraulic line tapped into one of the brake lines. It's been a while since I removed that portion of the "Towing Package," so I can't remember which reservoir it was tapped into. Most likely the larger one. There was a controller under the dash that Hydraulic fluid was plumbed to.

It leaked, so that came off my first day of ownership.

After inspecting my hardlines, I've decided to re-plumb all the brake lines. They are looking a little rough, and I no longer appreciate adreniline spiking surprises.

I second Dan's comment about the bearings. Rockauto.com or similar can give those kinds of crossovers. That said, I think the bearings are the same.

The wheel bearings on the disc brake hub are the same as the 10" drum brakes, but the 9" drum brakes have smaller bearings
