If all goes as planned, we will get pit parking along the outer pit fence. There is a large rest room at one end of that fence and we usually are parked 1/2 way between that and the entrance gate. We will have a SL6 sign hanging on that fence. Some SL6 racers will arrive on Thursday. DD |

Las Vegas is too tame without an occasional ale ( mebbe 50)...... .....some Asian seafood......prime rib.....a trip to Red Rocks.....fly a tipi... Personaly my concern would be Stephanie and,,,,,jeez,,,what was her name? Another thing Chris may have to think about is getting his free slant home..... Slant racing is complicated..... |

I plan on making out there, but I've made my reservations at the Orleans. That said I'll be bringing my 62 /6'er and my 68 Road Runner. I'd like to race the /6 in the drags, but just do a couple passes in the Road Runner. I'll have 2 other people with me. What would you guys reccomend for tickets? One race and the other show, or something different? I'll most likely be useing the Road Runner for local transportation. Their web site isn't very informative (to me). |

Time to call the brewery about cranking up production on Full Sail and ......Fat Tire Ale. Your request for a free 198 to fly home to Germany is noted. ( that will usually cost 12-15 ales by the time its loaded) You will see real slant racers! .....and many old farts who will tell you they are slant racers.....the trick is in telling the difference. When you get to the slant pits...call attention to yourself and state in a loud voice "Watch this.....hold my beer" .....everyone will know you are a slant racer too....not just some lost Hemi Super Stock guy. You will be immediately be given some slant related mechanical problem to solve in 10 mins.....because they just called the slant cars. Bring electrical tape. |

I´m so exited to meet you guys I need a 2bbl intake, two dutra dual manifolds and a matching cam (for my future daily driver 225 4speedOD 3.23 gears 66 Dart, head ported, stock valves, compression raised to 9.6:1, mainly lpg driven) I also need a set of 198 connecting rods and a 3x2bbl sidedraft intake for my 62 Lancer turbo dragrace project. I would like to get some hardened oil pump gears as well. That´s on my wishlist so far BTW what wheather/temperatures am I to exspect there? There´s no such thing like bad weather, only wrong clothing Cheers, Chris |

It can be windy........If you keep your pockets full of 198 rods you should be fine.... It will be warmer and drier than your home. |

Yeah it can be windy. Watch out for falling tipis. Sandy are you going? Dennis are you going (dependent on Steph and Karen)? I may go, again w/o a car. Sidelined for 2yrs now by female intervention which is now over. Hard to learn my lesson, even harder to learn than Dennis. Doug- I haven't got a room yet, but if I do you and Allen and Sandy and even Dennis could crash. |

It sounds like it will be a lonely few nights at the track, staying there to save money! I am hoping to tow the duster down but its not looking good .... |
