Hi, Any pros and cons for each that anyone has would be greatly appreciated...I am thinking about replacing the original Rubber floor cover with Carpet in my '72 Valiant....thanks, nico |

Carpet looks much better. And with backing, it's quieter inside |

Rubber is a lot easier to clean and doesn't get soaked. That's why they often use it in fleet pickups, etc. Carpet looks and feels better, and comes in more colors! |

A rubber floor mat can trap moisture against the floor much better and for much longer than carpet so the potential for rust damage is greater especially after a rubber mat cracks. |
