am in dire strait-64 Ply Valiant conv. with pushbutton shift needs auto trans-unable to locate in Long Bch.-So.Bay area of So.Ca. area. Also, need to know what yr. make etc. is compatible; trans in Val. won't shift forward simply winds eng.

Jimi,

I have an A904 out of a '64 Dart - same trans you have - that you can have for $10. I'm in Pasadena. I have no idea if it works or not as I've never used it, but you could get it rebuilt or use parts from it. Came out of a car with 170k on it and according to the owner, it worked at that point. Let me know and we can set something up.
