Another bolt question. To remove the rear main seal retainer, it looks as if it may be a 3/8 12 point. But all my sockets are hex, and the walls of my box ends are too thick to fit.

So, what size/type of socket do you use to remove it?

Mine were 6 point when I was foolin with them this morning.....but I think some were 12 point 3/8
