Is there a area on the slant six head to measure to determine if has been milled before. What is the most you have surfaced a head. Thanks Myron fountain

Just measured 5 most likely stock heads, from the deck surface to the valve cover surface (which is also the same as the head bolt bosses).
Got 3.605, 3.606, 3.610, 3.609, 3.595. I am thinking the factory spec was a "nominal" 3.600. Also measured my "Stock eliminator" head, which was cut 30 years ago to stock CC's (I think 55 cc's). Don't know how much was cut, but the measurement is 3.573. The .100 head I have is on an engine, so can't measure that one.
