Wow, looks like you really did your homework on this one, I'm impressed. How hard was it fabricate the linkage for the Carter YF? I have been considering adding one to my Duster to replace the 1945 on it now. Nice to know that I have someone to ask "how-to" now.

It wasn't to bad. You have to figure out how to get the throtlle to come forward. I had a piece of metal that was already angled. The throtlle cable is adjustable if you're off a little. If you have an automatic, like me, and you didn't get it long enough for the kick down. Just add a piece of metal. And the kick down lever is also adjustable. There is an adjustment down by the trans. Move it up the rod holds the shifting a little longer and moving down makes the shifting quicker.

Jeb, have you checked out the Holley/Weber Progressive? The linkage is more complicated, but man the performance is great! You get the gas mileage of a 1bbl and the kick of a 2bbl. And it's still on my 1bb intake!

Holy cr@p man, that looks exactly like my truck but cleaner.

I have an 85' D100 with the A833OD. I want to do the same thing you did in your engine compartment and that is to elimante some of that clutter. Also it looks like you have PS. Only option that came with my D100 was power brakes. I believe mine was a state truck at one time.
