A couple of videos for your enjoyment. I still need to make one of it running down the road or track. There is a turbo like sound that wasn't there before the headers where installed. We'll discuss that later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-u6hkiFM8o (idle with some reving) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmrpoPXC05Q (a little in driveway/garage burnout) I haven't install the A/C kicker, so I turned the idle down a bit. Maybe a little to much in this video. I normally drive with the A/C on all the time so its not high on the to do list. |

More video t come when YouTube is back up. First run exhaust CAPPED (closed) R/T .011 60' 1.931 330 5.948 1/8 9.375 MPH 71.38 1000 12.347 1/4 14.875 MPH 88.76 Second run was bad. Didn't get a good burnout and smoked the tires pretty close to the 60' mark. Unfortantaly my camera person was looking at the stars or something. ![]() Third run exhaust UNCAPPED R/T .074 60' 2.020 330 5.953 1/8 9.315 MPH 72.53 1000 12.244 1/4 14.743 MPH 89.81 http://tinyurl.com/2d32cv timeslips I should have run a couple more times and changed my launch technic a few more times. I am pretty sure if I could get consitently in the 1.9 60' if I combine the best burnout and staging technics of the three runs. Now for the interesting but scary stuff. As some may know I am running a Gear Vendors Over/Underdrive and I am split shifting gears (sometimes). That another thing I need to figure out. Whats the best shift combination. (split all gears, just the 1-2 or just the 2-3 shift). Well during the first run at the end of the track in 2nd-over and turning 5900-6000 rpm, instead of shifting in to Drive I hit the button and drop the overdrive. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() YouTube coming soon. |

Solid 14's in the quarter, good. If you haven't done it yet, I would use some "blue" locktite on those bolts. |

I had used red Locktite, so I am not sure why they came loose. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0n6_tBYtFg |

Hey, 14s, that's great! Looks like 14.6 should be well within reach with good launch, and maybe better with some tuning. 1MPH difference in trap speed means you are probably not "on tune" as you heat up. Low/mid 14s should be tunable... You might try just leaving the gear split/OD off for a pass and see how that does. No overrevving in top gear for sure at <90MPH. Congrats! Lou |

Bren, Nice - Now your getting the torque to the ground and turning some nice #'s And loose torque converter bolts can be a real hassle - isn't it amazing that all that power is transferred through just 4 small bolts??!!?? Good Work ! Greg |

Cool vids. I misspoke above. Didn't notice you were uncapped for the 2nd run. Faster MPH uncapped probably means you are a bit rich, at least when capped up. What is total timing? Lou |
