Please view my post under brakes for more titilating questions.

Tonight I jacked the old Crate up to pull the rear drums, and figured I would check the rear end ratio using one wheel in the air, and count the revolutions of the U joint method. Apparently I have a limmited slip or no-slip, cause that wheel wouldn't turn with the transmission in N. Would the ratio be stamped on the differential assembly somewhere. It is a bit cruddy under her, if I knew where to scrape & rub it would help.

Very rare to see it stamped from the factory, most often if it
has not been taken apart it will be on a tag attached to one
of the pumkin bolts....
