Do any of you guys have a good, inexpensive, reliable source for the rubber mouldings around the windshield of my 64 Valiant? I am gonna be taking them out (front and back) to paint soon and I'm pretty sure the old ones are going to crack all to hell. I would just leave them in for now, but there's a little rust spot right under one of them, so i might as well do it right. Also, I need the window channels as well, so the rattling will stop driving me crazy. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Don't buy any until you check out the original parts. I've restored several cars, and never had one that I couldn't use. They can look bad, but a can of lacquer thinner, a brush, a screwdriver to clean the grooves, and a bunch of rags can make an old seal look like new.

Cool...I'll try that trick on the seals. Thanks. I know the window channels are bad though...my windows constantly rattle while i'm driving, especially when i hit bumps. Then again, the whole car rattles when I hit bumps, but hey...the louder the better, right?

Are you talking about the "caterpiller hair" that goes on the door sil inside and outside of the window?

Couldn't tell ya on a 4 door application. I'm still trying to find the fuzzy stuff for my 2 door Duster myself. My doors don't have a full frame to hold window channels, so all I need is the caterpillar fur. Wish I knew the actual nomenclature for it

Lots of places carry all the seals you need, but my favorite supplier is: www.restorationspecialties.com
