Just be forewarned that both of those cars have high dollar engine controllers on them. They make ungodly power, but it is not "plug and play". |

zerglin - Here is the unit that was used on the rampage. If you look at what all it does and price the MSD stuff to duplicate it...it turns out to be a pretty good deal. I think the last time I priced on they were around $1800 for the TEC3r. Read the list of what all it does to give you an idea... http://www.electromotive-inc.com/products/tec3.html Tom |

I'm using a Holley 600 double pumper that I modified at home using this page. Starting and driveability are excellent. AFR ratios are around 11:1 at full throttle. At part throttle boost conditions the car was lean @ 16:1. To correct this I made a Boost Referenced Power Valve (BRPV). I have some work to go on that but it brought my AFr down to 13:1. I can still pull 20 mpg with this combo. I know there is more in it (both HP and MPG). Here are some HP numbers using the Wallace calculators and my track times. Keep in mind this is a bone stock /6 with boost added. The dyno showed 259 rwhp 12.95@104mph 3365lbs 1/4 mile times=estimates Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 251.51 rear wheel HP and 279.46 flywheel HP. Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 269.65 rear wheel HP and 299.61 flywheel HP 1/8 mile times= estimates Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 291.59 flywheel HP and 262.431 rear wheel HP. Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 358.56 flywheel HP and 322.704 rear wheel HP Your HP computed from your 60 Foot Time of 1.89 at Weight of 3365 pounds is 222.96 HP Some big differences |
