Vacuum reservoir for your A/C system. It holds vacuum to operate the heater and A/C mode doors and the heater water control valve even if you're headed up a hill with your foot on the floor (zero manifold vacuum). It has a check valve so that manifold vacuum will evacuate the reservoir, but even if manifold vacuum drops to zero, the reservoir will not bleed back to atmospheric pressure.
