Martin Michigan July 19th & 20th. I seen that some of you guys went last year, is anyone planning on going this year? Friday night the 18th is thier regular test & tune and since Martin is my home track I was wondering if anyone wants to do some Dodge vs Ford racing? I'm not here to stir up any trouble or talk "smack" but I'm a moderator at Fordsix.com and its came to my attention that some of you guys came up here last year to race so I thought I would ask. In case you are wondering, what I have is a 66 Mustang coupe with a 206 thats running one of Mike Winterboers new aluminum heads and 4 Bbl intakes with a bunch of other goodies besides that. Thanks, Doug |

Doug, Welcome to the board! I had my junk at Martin last year. I like the track, but it is just a bit too far from my shop for me to make the pull again. Shaker 223 is in MI. Maybe you can get him out there. |

I don't currently have a running inliner and when I do I'm not sure how much racing I'm going to do with it. Speed world is a nice place to spend a Saturday though. Keep us posted. |

Maybe you can get him out there. There is only 2 guys that race at Martin with inlines that I'm aware of. My Mustang and another guy has a GM station wagon with a 250 in it. On a side note I used to own Mopars before I got into Fords.....so I'm not all bad! I used to own a 70 Challenger, Two 70 Darts and a 72 Duster. Later, Doug |

I went up last year - Slantzilla and Seymour were there too. There were only 5 cars in the slant class so The SSRN points series is not going back to that track this year. Greg |
