Can you identify this set up, what is it, what is it worth, what all additional parts would I need to hook it up, and should I get it for my 198? ![]()

Looks like a pretty clean adaptation of a Weber 2bbl carb onto a 2-piece EB-welded aluminum intake, complete with suitably adapted air cleaner. I've never run one of these carbs, but I bet it could be made to work well. You'd likely need to do some throttle linkage adaptation, particularly if your car has an automatic transmission. |

You'll like this weber very much. Parts plentiful and jets available. If yoiu discover needs tuning get air/fuel gauge and a O2 sensor. Narrowband is ok, but wideband is excellent but spendy as it's a complete kit by about 2x than narrowband. Cheers, Wizard |

Oooooohhhh a Weber. Looks like whoever put that together knew what they were doing. I'd love to try a 2BBL Weber for a Super Six setup... Adapting the linkage shouldn't be too difficult if you know how to rig up a control cable. |
