Well after getting the old 65 back up and running, after re-adjusting the valves correctly, I am having lots of issues with rough idol and smoke and oil coming out of the blow bi. I asked my dad, since he actually had a duster with the same motor in it back in the day, what could be causing it.
He said that it could be worn rings. If this is true can I get some help and suggestions on doing a rebuild, but not a norm rebuild. If I am going to tear it down again I want to perk it up a little. For example, boring, new pistons, bearings, and etc. Any help would be awesome.

Did the engine idle roughly and have blowby issues before the valve adjustment, or are these issues new since you made the adjustments?
