Well after getting the old 65 back up and running, after re-adjusting the valves correctly, I am having lots of issues with rough idol and smoke and oil coming out of the blow bi. I asked my dad, since he actually had a duster with the same motor in it back in the day, what could be causing it. He said that it could be worn rings. If this is true can I get some help and suggestions on doing a rebuild, but not a norm rebuild. If I am going to tear it down again I want to perk it up a little. For example, boring, new pistons, bearings, and etc. Any help would be awesome. Thanks, Josh |

Did the engine idle roughly and have blowby issues before the valve adjustment, or are these issues new since you made the adjustments? |
