Post subject:	My first Slant-666....a Plymouth fury wagon 1969
Hi guys, im Roger from Holland..bought my Plymouth last year without an engine and some more left over work. Put the engine in which i bought complete with an automatic transmission bolted on. The engine is a 225cid slant six. Had a cracked exhaust manifold which i welded back together. Did some work on the brakebooster, which the plymouth didn't had before. So i rebuild an booster from a dodge b250 van. At this moment im waiting for the plymouth to return from the repair shop, the guy is helping me to build up the rest of the engine and fine tuning it. Because i didn't had all the parts to put the engine 100% back together. I haven't driven a slant six before so im pretty damn curious how it will run... ill keep u updated! Grtzz Roger..

Nice wagon, I have a '68 Custom Suburban, was 383 and now sports a 318, which is why we don't hear about it here. You should post some pics in the "Slant Wagons" gallery. Copper brake lines? I'm pretty sure that wouldn't wash over here. I know it's difficult to double flare and that's a must for brake lines. Keep us posted on progress.

But thanks for trying @Polara pat: Ok! ill put some pics in the"Slant Wagons" gallery.. However, in the future i want to swap the engine for a nice 360 which i have stored here...maybe some tips on how to do so would be great. Which K-member to swap (if that would be the only way to swap to V8 of course) etc etc... The copper brake lines are all double flared, the copper brake lines i bought are not for car brake lines, but for boat hydrolic/fuel lines and the mixture of material is "softer" than normal copper..so it's easy to double flare it... In the future ill switch it for nice stainless steel ones... @Tophat: thanx M8! grtz Roger

Obvious I didn't do a very good job. My son reads, writes and speaks Dutch pretty fluently since he has lived there for 20 years. I shall keep trying!
