Okay, bear with the new guy... I am curious about s/s trannies, specifically the 4-speed OD units. Iam new to Mopar and s/s so I need the basic info, like what the tranny is called! I know silly huh? If someone could post a beginners tutorial about Mopar 4-speeds and their relationships to s/s I would be greatly appreciative. A833 is about all I know as of now... |

The trannies aren't specific to just slant sixes when it comes to 'standards'... just the bellhousings and flywheels... the New Process A833 is still the same as the A-833OD, just a few changes in bearings, gearing (gear placement), and bearing retainer size... Hope the article helps... -D.Idiot |
