Just thought I'd share a little on what I've found for 5 speed options. As far as t5's go its my opinion you should stay away from the chevy stuff altogether the trucks aren't world class (or strong) and V8 camaro trannys aren't common enough.So here's a link to some ford t5 info. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2000/09/t5swap/index2.shtml The newest V6 mustangs have the strongest wc gearsets ford used from the factory and are both common and reasonably priced their main drawback is the lack of a mechanical speedo drive which can be remedied with an older tailhousing and some creative engineering to hold the gear on a shaft that wasn't made to have one.The extra 10 ft# of torque the cobra can hold is from a better bearing retainer. This is for people considering an R154 (toyota supra), AX-15 or NV3550 (Dodge Dakota), or any of the other transmissions that share this bellhousing pattern. This requires a SL6 to LA bellhousing adapter or an adapter between the trans and a slant bell like DionR made. http://www.jeeps-offroad.com/showthread.php?t=4740 For people not afraid to spend a little money theirs also the option of using a Wilcap SL6 to SBC adapter this makes a rediculous number of transmissions options available including using a T-56 6 speed |

I noticed that Mcleod now offers a modular, universal bellhousing for mating different trannies to different engines. I didn't notice if they have a /6 application, but if they do, it sounds like it'd be much easier than before to install a T5 into an A-body. |

OK, those 2 weren't part of it from what I remember but the R 154/AX 15 were quite a bit of it. Not trying to be a smart a$$ as much a suggestion to look back and see what others had posted, maybe bring that thread back to top if your info would relate. There were pix of someone's R 154 install as related to crossmamber, floor pan and such in there. |

i just did a quick search of their site, and saw a few instances where they specifically stated that they don't offer any bellhousings for mopar.
