Is the dust cover the same on all 225 bell housings or does it differ from auto to manual floor and colum shift?

All the 904 shields should be the same for a Slant trans. Manual trans shields will be different. :D

No the transmissions are all the same pretty much when worrying about shifters... now with bell covers you have to make sure you check since the 3speed bell is a bit smaller than the 4 speed/OD bell... (are you specifically looking for the front or underside cover? Both?)

Yeah manual tranny bellhousings use a bottom 'plate' held on by about 5 bolts, and the 'tin' inspection cover is held to that by 3 small bolts in the front and the lower passenger side bolt on the engine and the two bolts holding the 'ear' to the bellhousing under the starter...

Good luck yarding...

If you have the correct wrenches, a large screw driver, and the car is already up on 'rims'/blocks.... 15 minutes of work (just pull the lower pan bolts, the block bolts, pry block away from cover, and let drop or 'wiggle out'.... $10 (most junkyards if you pull misc stuff are about $5 per 'part' for 'what's that?' ....$15 if they are proud (that's an old car part must be worth something... no more than $20 if they are arseholes and you need it bad (hey, I could get more on eBay for that antique Mopar cover....)
