Item 597716670. This looks pretty cool but, would the carbs required on the intake provide better power than one big carb? The carbs would cost a fair chunk of change but man three carbs on a six would look sweet!

This is cool. Would this work for EFI ? Build a common pleneum tube to connect all 3 carb bases and use the GM throttle body ... Is there enough metal for the injector bosses ? It sure looks good.

hey i have the lynx setup, with 3 x solex addhe 40 mm carbs it is stunning in looks, in everyday use, fuel distribution and in fuel economy

why to go to the injection? if three old carbs are "expensive" then what is the injection?

This thing is just like the Long rod combos in a 225...you really have to try one...then you will understand...

abouth my lynx, one company called "kaasutin expertti" (carb expert), here in Finland had three manifolds ages ago...so they are not common in finland either...buy it!!! and install it...but before that check that the butterflies open evenly.
i think thats the main reason people dont like those...???

the lynx is in the picks in the site.

jyri, a few months ago you posted a link to a place called "Pro Turbo". I couldn't find an e-mail address for them on their site. Do you have one for them? I'm interested in their turbo header for the Slant. Thanks!! Dennis

Have you bought anything from these people? How was the quality. From the pictures on their website, the header looks very nice. Dennis

the header is mine...as the engine...lets say that you can find more "hi-tech" quality in states, with big bucks, but why i´m happy with that, is that the owner of the shop, didnt do the header, the easiest way, he also wanted that it would give loads of torque more that the common type 6 in to 1 bad flowing header...

i like it...

the problem is that he has sooooo many things in his work, and i dont want to hurry him up...sooo ill wait, when everything is ready, then i will take my duster to his shop, and then its time for the plumbing and for a big intercooler also.

i took the duster to a new storage to wait for the better days...and ill pick it up when the engine combo is ready, heck ill have to get bulletproof rods and pistons...too

thanks for your time.

Jyri...
Unless you're talking about the one leaning on the fender of your green Duster, I couldn't find the lynx among the pics at your sight. Which group of pics is it in? Page address? Lots of interesting other stuff, though. Cool site! Thanks.
