A friend of a friend has two chevy t5's for sale at what I think is a good price. They both have new bearings and syncro's for $275.00 each. Whats involved in putting a chevy t5 behind a slant? I dont want to buy one and then have to fight to make it work. |

Take a look at the links in this post. http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28272 With a bit of searching you will find adaptors for just such a swap. I think the going rate is a bit over five hundred clams. Shoot, thats what I payed for my Manual steering box, and the goodies to make it work. CJ |

used to make a bellhousing just for this swap. you should check with them. http://www.rodshop.com.au/index.html Edit: it is not a bellhousing, but instead an adaptor plate: AP126 From the online catalog: PART NO. AP126 Adaptor plate and kit to bolt GM V8 T5 to Hemi and Slant 6 bellhousing. The kit comes with a spigot bush and bolts. sb |
