Lou, Greg, and Menko will be at Willow Springs Int'l Raceway this Thursday, May 1, 2008 for Spring Fling Speed Festival.

I will be in the area for work, as it happens, but will not have the Dart. Menko should have his Lancer down. Greg's Barracuda??

Road course thrashing from 8 AM to 5 PM. $5-10 to get in the gate. Bring your car and you can do "parade laps" around the course at lunch.

Sorry to miss you this year, Mark. I had to fly in Tues and out Thurs to be back to finish work up before a long vacation starting tomorrow.

Had a great time at SFSF. Ran some pretty fast lap times in a "borrowed" new 5.7L Hemi 300C. Fastest was 1:47.8 around Willow big track.

Chrysler ace engineer Bob Tarozzi was there amazing us with stories from the 60s-80s.

I got a ride (on the hot floor above exh pipe) in Tim Herren's awesome '71 Cuda Trans Am clone racecar, and Sean Machado's '69 Daytona wing car with 500in Hemi - awesome...

Hope to take an improved '64 Dart next year!
