| Post subject: | headlight wiring diagram? |
Anybody got one or do I have to go get a chliton's manual. The headlights and taillights don't go through a relay do they? I don't think so. I just need to know which switch is which right? |

Welcome on the board. Don't get a Chilton or Haynes manual; the information they contain is sparse and of poor quality. Get a factory service manual instead; it's worth it. There is no headlight relay. The headlight power goes from the main feed to the headlamp switch, down to the beam selector kickswitch (which is a good place to start looking for the cause of no-lights, if the plug has come disconnected or the switch itself is faulty), out through the bulkhead disconnect to the lights themselves. Make sure to check the lamps' grounds. Follow MiDi's links to decent free wiring diagrams. |
