Post subject: | "A" Body Frame Repair |
I have decided that the K-member-to-torsion section of the Dart's frame needs repair on both sides. Has anyone out in slant land used the "Auto Rust" 13-gauge repair caps as shown in the Year One catalog? http://www.yearone.com/pco/A_0308/full.asp?page=321 Are they easy to install, or rather, uncomplicated to install? Any tips to make the job easier? |

Try http://www.autorust.com. I think you can order from them directly, and skip the donation to Year One. They repaired my boneyard-bound cuda, and did an OK job. I haven't used their parts for my own welding experiments, I'm too cheap: Scottish Jew, cheap and thrifty |

Oddly the parts were cheeper through Year One before adding the 'refund08' 15% discount offer. Go figure. |
