get a advance timing light and set the initial setting at tdc. I then check where the advance curve goes flat or total advance and what rpm.set the total of 32 to 34 at that rpm and let the inital go where it wants. This is what numbers i use for race app and have not changed anything in two years. just check twice a year. thanks ron
