I am planning to put a 904 in place of my 230 manual 3 speed. It is going in a 64 barracuda with a 73 slant six with the big crank bore. The 904 is a 1974 vintage and I need to know what other parts I will need. It also has the super six set up with a carter carb off a v8. I am most intrested in kick down linkages, yokes and any thing else I may have not thought of.

Thanks Joe

Kick down, 1973-1974 A-230 should use the A-904 yoke (so just plug and play your current driveline...but check the yoke in case you got one of the 'odd' trannies), tranny cooler lines, radiator that has the tranny cooler bungs installed in the bottom, shift linkage for the tranny (column shifter and the linkage from a similar car... i.e if a 1964 Valiant you need the linkage from a 1966 Valiant/Dart... skip if going aftermarket on shifter and kickdown cable)

Good luck, and hang on to your A-230, it's a desired 3-spd with that synchro 1st gear!
