Shouldn't the fuel filter eventually fill up with gas? I just put on a new fuel pump and I see the amount of air in it rising and falling over a period of several days. This seems to me almost like the pump is injecting air into the line? Thanks |

Hmm, the fuel filter on my Volare (between the fuel pump and the carbs) is mostly full of fuel whenever I look at it. It's a clear plastic filter. ????????????????????????? |

If the fuel filter is partly horizontal, the air bubble can't escape. But how much air stays in there will depend on the mounting angle. |
