67' Dart GT.

After I did extensive wire rehabilitation to my Dart this spring, I had a problem with the four way flashers being three way. I slid this glitch to the bottom of the list of things to deal with until today, I discovered that the left brake light was out, but the blinkers were all working as well as the three way flasher...

This situation was bugging me enough to get back into electron repair mode again as bad brake lights are an attractive nuisance for cops if you get my drift...

After checking every connection, wire, and switch in the brake circuit I discovered the problem, a sloppy turn signal switch. With the steering wheel removed, and with pressure applied via one's index finger to the cam that cancels the directional signals, the brake lights all work. Remove the finger and the left brake light stops lighting. That switch is the one item I did not test, and mess with... Go figure.

Every place I tried to purchase a new turn signal switch has them on three week back order. The Paddock & Year One are the only two places that list this switch. Any ideas where I could get one quickly?

I seems the entire stock of 67' directional signal switches in the free world has dried up over night. None on eBay, none at the mega catalogs, not back ordered any longer, but discontinued... Cripes

Shee-Mar said "discontinued", eh? Well, I might have a new one on shelf for you. I can check tomorrow for you. Send me a PM to remind me.
