Greetings, all, from rural Northern Michigan. It's a long story why I'm here -- most of a decade long, in fact. It's already got a name; it's called "Fear and Loathing in Sheboygan", and it involves a 37-year-old Volvo 164 in pieces in Wisconsin, an armed aging hippie, a marginally-roadworthy pickup truck that mostly ran except when it sometimes didn't, severe sleep deprivation, a ferryboat...anyway, I'll write up the whole story when I can.

Having retrieved the 164, I am now photographing carburetors -- the ones I've been promising to put up for sale. I'm about halfway done, and I'll put up a Flickr album or something when I get back to a high-speed connection. So far I've found at least one of every carburetor people have asked me to look for, and I find I have a fair number of identically-matched pairs of new 1bbls which will be nice for whoever might want to put together a twin-carb setup.

So: The promised carb sale is going to happen. Soon.
