I was hoping if somebody could tell me for sure if the doors off a '66 Valiant 200 would fit onto a '65 Dart 270? Both are 4 door sedans. They look like they're the same, but it would be nice to know for sure before I start ripping cars apart! |

If they are for the front they will physically interchange; however, the locks will be different (65s have the large bezel lock and 66-up have the small one) |

That's a feature, not a bug  The '66 locks are more robust and very much more available.

... I don't lock my car anyway.  The locks are rusty and finicky and I'm afraid one day they'd stick completely and I'd break my key trying to open them. Having more robust (and available!!) locks may be a good thing. I'll even have the key to those doors too, since it's 71Dart's (The Other Rob) Valiant I'd be snagging them from. Killer deal, man. Rust-free doors and locks that aren't sticky. Aw yeah. |
