Has anyone installed a T-45 behind the slant6? A friend of mine has one he will give me if I can make it work. From what i can tell it should be about the same process to install as the T-5. Dose anyone think I could use the Quick Time Performance Products RM-6071 MOPAR 318/360 Bellhousing to T5 Mustang tranny and then use Ma mopars V8 trany to slant6 addapter? Will the imput shaft belong enough? QuickTime says to use a Clutch Ø = 10.5" and a Flywheel = 130 tooth so can I find a flywheel that will bolt to the slant crank? and last question can I still use a light weight starter? Thanks Michael |

I don't think anyone has done it. Shouldn't be much different than a T5 swap. You might look for one of my group buy T5/Slant bellhousings to start with. You are in "roll your own" territory. Search the web for dimensional data, get your friend's trans and measure it. You will need lots of cutting and fabbing to make this work. Lou |
