| Post subject: | 833OD inspection cover/forks set-up? |
Hey all, I'm trying to button up an 833 OD, but wondered how to make sure I've got the forks and levers all in the right setting before I seal it up. Looking at pictures on this site and others I think I have the forks in the right places but not so sure on reverse mechanism or the ratcheting levers on the inside of the inspection plate. That's another pic I should have made when I had the box open... if the 'collars' are inbetween gears/floating they are in 'neutral' and the reverse lever is 'back' (if the 'hammer' is against the rear of the case/switch... it's in reverse), you are in neutral and ready to go... go man go! -D.Idiot |
