When swapping to 73-up front disc brakes on 72- down lower control arms do you have to use the later lower ball joint or can you use the early drum style? thanks in advance. Ted |

You need the later ball joint as the spindle is different where it bolts on. |

Cool, that's what I already have. I'm swapping to 17x8 mustang bullit wheels & the outer tie-rod end is just barely hitting the rim. I need about 1/8" of clearance. I'm running 10 3/4" rotors right now so after a little research & some measureing I found the 11 3/4" rotors are about 1/4" taller hat so I think I will try the bigger rotors to hopefully give me enough clearance to not have to run a spacer.BTW I currently use the Moog LBJ's #K781/K783 does anyone know of another manufacturer or part # for LBJ for disc brakes (hoping maybe a different lower might turn in a little more to give some more clearance) Ted |
