Hi all I found a 833 in a late '87 D150, but it has a externally splined drive shaft, is this normal ? I found these number on the left side (drivers side) C15154 STD and on the right (pass) *stamping* then 3544 C15154 Is this a decent 4spd to use in a F-body ? or should I look for F-body specific 4spds ? -Mike |

Long shaft 833OD probably. Bolts into E and B bodies. There is a way to make the shift linkage work in an A body. Someone did it on Moparts. Never did show any pics. |

Someone here or maybe it wa son the now defunct other /6 site had made that long tail OD trans swap-to-A-body (68 Cuda I believe) and has posted pix here and there. I did the opposite; put a short tail one into a 79 D 100. |
