I had an old 1 barrel holley on my van and every time I shut it off a little fuel would leak out the bottom of the carb, looked like by the shaft that ran through the bottom. I just replaced the carb for other reasons and still this brand new one does the same thing. Could this be because of somthing else? |

You will want to do the Fuel line mod. Is it really a brand new carburetor, or is it a "remanufactured" one from a parts store? |

The float may be a little too high so when it boils over it will come out the shaft. Dan's fuel mod will help and a correctly adjusted float. |
