I've heard about using a graphie manifold gasket, and that it is a must for a good rebuild. Is this true, and if so, why, and where do I get one and how much are they?

I got the head back from the machine shop the other day and assembled it with the bigger valves and all the port work. I have to say, I think it turned out pretty nice. I get the block back sometime this week. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress.

It is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions. You can also get a different variety of them from Remflex.
