Doc - Spoke with Hughes this am. Said they could drill the cam but would need a old one for a pattern. They don't have a /6 cam since they only sell 1 or 2 a year. I no longer have the old cam. If the drilling route is selected I assume the hole in the journal would have to be in perfect alignment with the bearing holes. Probably pretty hard material also. usclstaffingnet@sprintmail.com |

Probably : pretty hard material also. The cam material is not all that hard to drill. Getting the two hole positioned correctly is critical. I will draw up and post the info. tonight. Should I send Hughes a stock cam for them to reference?? (will you cover my shipping cost?) DD |
