I'm using a slant in a period style hot rod and will not be running A/C or power steering. What belts/routing should I use? |

Depends on which alternator you'll be running, whether you'll be mounting it on the manifold side or distributor side of the engine, and which-year brackets you'll be using to do so. |

Thanks, Dan. Slant is out of a '74 Dart. I'd like to use the stock alternator & mounting bracket on the distributor side of the block. |

The extra pulleys will unbolt off the damper and you can run 1 belt for the water pump and alternator. |

Yep, just use the stock fan/alternator belt for a '74 Dart. If the car had P/S, A/C, or an air injection ("smog") pump, the extra pulleys can simply be unbolted from the front and/or rear of the combination crank pulley/vibration damper. |
