Welcome on the board. You'll want, right away, to get the factory service manual and other books described in this thread. The torsion bars are adjusted by means of one adjusting bolt on each side, screwed into the bottom of the inboard end of the lower control arm. Doing the adjustment properly requires a series of measurements and preparations; just turning the adjustors at random shouldn't be done unless you're very experienced and know exactly what you're doing and why.

CD manual quality is inconsistent. Some of them are very nice, some of them are crappy. The ones www.moparmanuals.com sells are officially licenced. Me, I usually get used original printed-paper ones.

The paper FSM is the only way to go. Watch ebay for them as that is where I got my last two.

Just another hint on the FSM. I took mine to a print shop, where for about $20 they bound it with spiral plastic binding. If you use the cheap ones very much, the binding falls apart. Now, mine stays open on the fender, and I don;t run the danger of losing pages.

Don't be afraid of the torsion bar adjustments. Just soak it well with penetrating fluid of some kind, and get a big old breaker bar. It helps to lift the car of the ground. AFter they are freed up, you can certainly leave it down on the ground as you adjust it. AFter raising the car, and breaking the bolts loose, you will need to drive forward and back a bit to settle the suspension before settling on a final height. Everything works better when those are adjusted correctly.

Sam
