I purchased a super six 2 bbl from ryan72mopar and never received it. Emails were answered until I asked for tracking info, then silence.I don't really have any recourse since he doesn't accept paypal. A little too late I checked his feedback; seems he sold a similar carb to someone else in April who never received it either. Blames all his negs on the shipper or the buyer. Stay away from this guy! only cost me 15 bucks to learn this lesson. |

Even though it may not get your money back, you should definitely file an "Item Not Received" report with eBay. |

An email from this guy 0n 6/26/08 stated he received my payment and would ship the next day. Next email (in response to a message from me) dated 7/7/08 said ". . .yes, it was shipped". arrived yesterday with postmark 7/9/08. I dislike being lied to and strung along where my money is concerned, however small the amount may be . . . |

Yeah I agree; I have been waiting since 4/3 (the date I sent a M.O.) to a member of another Mopar site for several Super Coupe parts off a car he supposedly stripped out. I have a long thread over there on the ordeal (it was on BK's, or as he's now known, "old Hippie"'s site) I am not gonna put the username up here, since AFAIK he doesn't post here; if so it's under a different name; but via PMs to other members that claim to be buddys with this guy, supposedly my stuff's been shipped about 8 times over. It's strange, though, that the guy has not posted there since within a couple days after I sent my M.O. and prior to that, he had been quite a regular there. But YES it frosts me that I sent my $$$ in and get treated this way; just glad it's not one of you fellow Slanters. CT. is a bit far to take an afternoon drive from IL or I'd have found him and gotten my stuff by now. The guys here, don't appear to be that way. I see that your complaint also appears to deal with a non-member of this site. |

I’ve had good luck here too, but, in my experience, there’s at least one that doesn’t mind shipping obviously useless parts. As always, buyer beware. Danny |

If you sent a US Postal Money Order, I'd check with the PO concerning fraud charges. Even if for a small amount, that's federal charges |

Hey there 65 Dartman,, first off, I sent a "moneyGram" M.O., not a USPS one. (oops; shoulda asked this first; were you talking to me, or were you talking to the other guy that started this thread?) I admit I can be bad at thread jack, especially if in my mind, the originator's topic even vaguely applies to one of my experiences; in my case it was $50., and I would not know how to start the process, being that we are in different states. Would I go to the P.O., or in my case, a Money Gram outlet (Wal Mart, Speedway gas station, a couple others around here) and fill out some sort of form? or would I call the atty. general in Conneticut? Just a couple phone calls could add up to more than that. My feeling is that it would cost me more than another $50 to get anything done about it; not really worth it, unless somehow I could find others he's done this to, in order to establish some sort of "pattern"; otherwise I guess I just chalk it up to $50 down the toilet, and if he pops up somewhere, let people know what kind of a rip off he is. Maybe I can "cost" him more than $50 in future lost sales, somehow? I am not familiar with that part of the country and don't think I know anybody out there to pay the guy a visit with lead pipe in hand. |
