I read the article on the alum engine not having cam bearing. When I tore my block down to send to the machine shop I notice my engine has one bearings insert in the front journal. It has a 360 degrees oil groove and drilled for oil feed. Whats up?

Someone "fixed" that block by installing a cam bearing from an iron SL6.
