Has anyone every tried running mushroom lifters in a slant motor? I would guess you could get some pretty fast opening rates with them which should help cylinder filling on standard rod length engines. motorhedfred motorhedfred@yahoo.com |

The SL6 really likes having the valve open at full lift for as long as possible so this is worth the effort. Most of the work will be getting a nice grind on the cam its self, the lifter install should be "cake". DD |

When I move out to NC and get a garage, I might mess around with this. The VW lifters are cheap and are very large diameter - like 1.3" or so. Cheers, Lou |

Good thinking man! jyri.eramaa@jwt.fi |
