July 26 and 27 is the Mopar Nats at Pacific Raceway. Since I screwed up my schedule and can't make the Nostalgia drags in Mission, I thought this might be a destination to try and make. Don't hate me too much but I run a 440 powered wagon. I just thought it would be cool to meet up with some of you slant racers from the Pacific Northwest.

Hmm, might have to try and make that one. No worries about the big block. Big cars need lots of power to go fast. Maybe they'd let me run a 440 powered Packard? Probably not.

Cool, you won't be able to miss our pair of black '67 wagons. We're also hoping to meet our southern counterpart of "Wagons of Steel" down there. All good people despite their obsession with Mopar wagons.

We should be heading out early Thurs. morning for a ten hour pull to Seattle. We will be meeting the Wagons of Steel South team at the track to set up a formidable HQ. It should be a blast, all said we will be racing at least five cars from our camp, one of which is my friend Graham's bone stock '63 330 wagon with my old Poly 318 for power. It should be an easy mark for some of you slanters. look for the big red "Rocky Mtn Tent" and a posse of drunk Canadian miscreants.

Hope to see ya there.
