84k origanal on 225 automatic in a 73 dart sport. All rockers adj correctly .10 and .20. Taken pan down removed 4 and 5 rod caps, normal breakdown. Noise still rear of engine inside block. Rev up and as rpm lowers nockinf is louder then normal tick, it always the lowdest after reving. |

Did that vehicle use a flex plate? Old Fords knock like crazy with a cracked flex plate, and it's sometimes difficult to tell the difference between that and a rod knock. |
