Are the bushings & seals for rebuilding a distributor avail from NAPA or the like? Mine has more radial shaft clearance than I'd like. Yeah, I know I could buy a rebuilt for $45 but with all the talk of random advance curves, at least by doing it myself I'd know what I have.

BTW I tried searching but couldn't find anything on this.

I cant answer where to get the bushings, however. Please dont buy a Reman you will get junk and Dan (SS) has a vender that sells the NOS EI for $75 if I remember reading correctly. Even has the good curve.

i got a reman. dizzy from NAPA, and it had a bad electronic pickup. that cost me a lot of time

Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to track down a new one. It's not critical yet, so that gives me some flexibility on finding a good deal.
