Post subject:  Woodburn Points Race Who 's going??
Just got off the phone with Jim Livingston (owner of the track) . He said we will be able to run ALL year cars in the inline/flat head class on Sunday Aug 10, after the points race on Sat Aug 9.
So lets get ready for a great weekend of racing :D .

Jessica and I should be there.....with both cars. I take my drag car to the muffler shop Friday I think......to get exaust extentions put on.....then the NEW shifter cable and stuff.LOL.....I also have a new carb to add, but the exaust needs the attention first.

At this point i am 60% yes ,have lots to do in the next couple of weeks ,i think Glenn is coming and maybe Dave Erickson, everyone else from my way probably not.Can someone find out what the entry fees and staying at the track will cost. Thanke Sergio

Go to this web site www.woodburndragstrip.com and click on the events togle switch, then click on the pdf schedual it will give you the printed schedual on screen.
Camping at the track costs $10.00 and there are motels close by but they fill up fast.

There are only 12 days before the first points race at Woodburn. This could be a 25 car event. Come up and enjoy the grass pits (yes the pit area is all grass) :)

Richard, did you find out if we can get a discount on the entry if we run just the Slant Six race on Saturday?

NO discount .
But all slant sixes can run with the inline/flat head on Sunday ALL Years not just '72 and older.

So come on and bring all the slant 6 Powered cars and have a fun weekend.

8 days left till the first Woodburn slant six race. Come on give us an idea of how much pit area we need, (how many cars will BEE there??).

I know it's a long haul for some of you, But Ceej and myself haul down to the races closest to you. Return the favor and race on our close track!!

I just called the machine shop that has my cylinder head. It will not be ready today as promised so I may not make Woodburn.

I know that I will BEE there, and I will BEE with my car!!! I am really hoping we can get alot of people there, because everyone has been buggin me about when I was going to bring my car....

well...

I AM BRINGING MY CAR!!!!
