What is the eye-to-eye width of a sway bar to fit a 1970 dart? I have one with mounts that line up perfectly with the holes on the K-member, but the ends seem too far outboard to line up with the tabs on my LCAs. Does anyone have the measurement? Maybe a picture of a bar installed on a 1970 vintage Dart?

Thanks in advance,

Nat

You may have a b-body bar, but are you measuring the distance between LCA tabs with the weight of the car on the LCAs? The tabs get a lot closer with the suspension dangling.

Thanks for your reply. It is from a 1970 Dart. Problem is, the LCAs are out of a 1975, so the sway bar tabs are in the wrong spot. I'm going to have them cut off and welded back in the proper spot for my 1970 sway bar. I'll probably have the LCA reinforced while I'm at it.

Thanks again,

Nat

Yes, 73-76 used a narrower bar that ran through the k-member.
