Looking for a good used or an idea for the rubber drain tube that goes from the bottom of the a/c box through the firewall to the outside. Lets the water drain out onto the ground. It's for a 73 Duster with factory air. I saw one nos but it was very...very...expensive...66 plus 15 shipping...ouch Could I just fit a piece of rubber hose on there and forget about it? Yep, any rubber tube'll work as long as it approximates the original's routing and configuration. Make sure not to push it too far into the evaporator box (which can push its top end above the normal water level and hinder drainage). |

Jeepers Dan That was a fast reply...Thanks again...Can always count on you for a quick and expert reply..now if you just lived next door so I could get this thing finished...lol. Thought I might have it ready for moparfest but that is looking less likely as the days go by...next year for sure... How was your trip..India you said??? Cheers Brent |
